Some more new authors writing in due South

May 31, 2015 09:23

Here are some dS authors/artists who have (as far as I can tell, not having done much research) started posting to AO3 since my post last year.  As always, I make no claims that this list is complete in any way, and these aren't recs per se (I haven't necessarily read all these people).  Just putting the names out there; if you're curious, ( Read more... )

TYK for doing this list! I have encountered a few of these, but there are also quite a few that I had not yet seen at all. You are doing a great service here for both the readers and the writers.

Yays for dS : the 21-year-old fandom that keeps on keepin' on!

A lot of them have only posted one or two things...

Even one by a new author is worth noting. If we know about them we can encourage them on. (And so many of them don't post fic notices to the noticeboards....)

Ooh! What a great idea! And what a lot of new names. Very encouraging to see so much new interest in our twenty one year old fandom.

Shadow2Serenity, by the way, is awesome. I highly recommend his ongoing Catching Shadows epic - it's like having the series back on again, with regular 'episodes' arriving. (It's set twenty years after the series ended, with all the main players.) You absolutely will thank me for it. The last cliffhanger slayed me.

Many of the others I haven't read yet, so I'm really looking forward to catching up on the new stuff. Thank you for this!

Killing two birds with one stone! It's a way of keeping this archive from being accidentally purged. :)
