The only one I've got an answer for right now is 2. I think personal feeling definitely affected his decision, but I also think that if Fraser hadn't been the one who knew Vecchio personally and someone else spoke up for him, Fraser could probably still have been swayed to delay. Even though he is very by-the-book actions, he is someone who can be reached emotionally (viscerally?) fairly easily by some - despite his best efforts to avoid that sort of connection.
1. Stanley Smith is definitely one of my favourite one-shot characters. He's witty and funny. I want to see him as post-CotW detective. He and Welsh would be a dream-team!
3. No, actually. I mean, we've always been given glimpses into her character, that made it clear that she's not one-dimensional. Of course this must have been a terrible incident for her, but she definitely seems to be over it (notice her flirting with Fraser right after she told him).
1. I love Stanley Smith. I especially love that Stanley Kowalski is essentially also Stanley Smith. The line, "Like there's only one Stanley Smith in the world?" Classic. Who wrote this episode? Whoever did, they were brilliant to put this line in. *g

1. Stanley Smith is my FAVORITE one-shot character. I think he and RayK mixed really well together and I would have loved to have seen him again. 2. I don't think Fraser would've "delayed" reporting the body if it hadn't been RayV who was the suspect. Fraser's loyal to his friends and I think he would've gone even farther to protect him, even if he hadn't been undercover. 3. I didn't really see her any differently but I did like seeing part of her history and how protective RayV was of her. 4. I think if he had threatened Frannie (or anyone in Ray's family) again Ray was definately capable of killing him. How Ray would deal with the aftermath of this is another question. 5. I love all the Ear Anecdotes Fraser tells Rayk.
3. It was more a reminder to everyone, that Ray was driven mad by his sister but still loved her to bits. It's one of the few brother/sister relationships I actually buy. 4. Ray definitely beat him (not unlike he beat Zuko) but murder? No, I never believed it.
