ds_writers has always been a great place to find betas, but I was thinking it would be cool if there were a single list we could link to from other communities so as to help new DS fen get connected. So...if you can offer to beta for people, please comment to this entry! :D ( Read more... )

b) Strengths/weaknesses: I tend to be strongest with little details and weaker on overall issues. So, like "this sentence is awkward, and here's why", yes, but I tend to not be good at, like, helping with the actual procedural themes and stuff like that.

c) Squicks: character death/hopeless endings. But that's pretty much it.

I'd love to do beta work

B:American English only, unfortantly. good at grammer and plot. Loves to brainstorm.

C: Not a big F/K/V person, Non-con and abusefic don't really turn my crank either. I'll do deathfic, but with large amounts of whining first.

b) Strengths/weaknesses: I do total betas (so, I not only beta for plot, grammar, punctuation, but also canon and characterization)

c) Squicks: I'm more of a Ray K person when it comes to slash, so I'd prefer that pairing :)
