I finished the rally!
I finished my first ever road rally. I went the wrong way 3 times and had to spin around fast. We even hit a road blocked by a stopped train. Got second in my class (novice). Ok, so there were only two. Nonetheless I got to drive and take curves like I've never use to. The folks in the rally were really helpful and got me through all the steps. It ( Read more... ) -

There is a Hello Kitty store in Marketplace Mall. Excellent. Though I'm more interested in the Wilson's closing. I like leather goods... -
New glasses
I finally got new glasses. I think its been about 8 years since I replaced what I had. I know its old news but I find Transitions really neat. No longer will I need to reach for sunglasses (which I had but never use). Now I wonder if there are photochromatic lenses for cameras... -
Good German food
My BF GPS came in a few days ago. And the first thing I was able to do with it was find a German restaurant, Bayern Stube. I didn't think we had a German restaurant anywhere near here. But there is and it is good. Ok, so its at Gibson City, which for me takes about the same travel time as it is for Champaign. I discovered and took home some ( Read more... ) -
