Cut for long video game related rambling )

The game came out in 2000 when Square was pretty much at the height of their powers; Dewprism, Legend of Mana, Chrono Cross, and Final Fantasy IX were all released within 6 months of Vagrant Story, and Vagrant Story was the one black mark on their release schedule (as much as I've bashed Chrono Cross, it's redeemed by bringing us one of the greatest game soundtracks of all time).

Oooh, I remember that time period. At one point they were releasing one game each month (I think Legend of Mana, Dewprism... er... Threads of Fate, and Chrono Cross). Although we have similar taste in many games, we're way off here, because I loved Vagrant Story and enjoyed Crono Cross (though granted I never played Crono Trigger so maybe that's why...), and unlike most people loved the hell outta Legend of Mana, but really disenjoyed (shush, it's a word now!) Threads of Fate.

So... how ya feeling nowadays? Or shouldn't I ask?

I'm doing reasonably well. I had to do a bunch of blood tests this week, but I'm basically feeling alright. Some of the doctors were worried about some of the test numbers, but it seems like part of the problem is that there are too many different doctors and I haven't been seeing the same one. The surgeon prescribed something a few weeks ago that he said could have exactly this effect on my lab tests. So I had to explain that to the other doctors today and then they told me to stop taking it so they could see if the numbers got better. So that was a bit of a hassle, but for the most part things have been okay. I'm not back at work yet, so I'm spending most of my time at home.

Glad you're reasonably well, and argh, hope the crappy bits get better soon.
