Fun facts from when I was a judge:
The basic setup is actually set by the county board of elections. Although the decision of how many people to let in is more under thecontrol of the chief judges there. Although there's no single position assigned to crowd control.

Considering I've been hearing turnout is higher than expected, that's probably where the problem was. People not adapting fast enough to increased numbers.

Did you vote at Jackson Road Elementary? 's where Coby and I went -- how bad were the lines? 1hr 30+ while we were there.

Yeah. I got there around 12:15, I guess. Didn't wait in line longer than 5-10 minutes, if even that much. A guy at a stand near the entrance mentioned to me that the line was the shortest it had been all day. Guess I picked a good time to go!

(Also, I noticed that there's a retirement home nearby that has on their sign a message that they have a separate "community for the memory impaired".)

I guess it's better than having a wing for the 'life impaired'....
