Up at 6:30 for the RPGA D&D Open tournament at 8. This afternoon, Apple announce the iPod mini. It's a smaller version of the iPod, both in dimensions and in disk capacity. And that's right where things get strange.

It only took 10 hours (and plenty of cursing at QuickTime) to do it, but I now have a Mac OS X command-line tool that converts SWF to PNG.

And they said it couldn't be done. Bah!

I'll wait until I see more of the new Battlestar Galactica series, and re-watch the old one again before deciding whether or not I really like it, but I think I have to say that I like what I've seen so far ( Read more... )
