It's too bad you got cut, I definitely did enjoy your offerings. I read some of the other entrants offerings and while there were some gems, there were some tanks too, whereas yours were consistently interesting (though very diverse *g*)

Diverse is my middle name. :) Well, you get the idea. I tried to bring something new and interesting along each time I wrote a piece, and I knew that the frequent topic and style changes would turn a lot of people off. I am pretty sure that, plus my general curmudgeonly demeanor and infrequent participation in the other group discussions and whatnot, wasn't exactly a big plus for those who were reading. :)

Still, I'm having fun with the topics, so I'll be continuing on as long as they're posted!

Oh, and I'm glad you've been enjoying the pieces. Thanks!

cheers,
Phil

It was fun writing with you. You had a lot of stellar entries this season.

I also don't do trigger warnings and was vocal about it in the green room for the first time...I hope it didn't affect me too much in the polling..but it is what it is.

I am not gonna lie, I really wanted to outlast the Second Chance Idol people, not that they aren't fine, talented writers...but just because I think it is much harder to write 30 entries without writing a dud, or something perceived as a dud than it is to write 15-17 or whatever it is.

That sounds like sour grapes and I didn't mean to go there. Both the SCI people left are quite talented and there really isn't anyone left in the contest who isn't a pretty darn good writer and I look forward to my jurist duties of trying to keep the best ones in play.
