the death of writing

As I sit here on the computer I realize that I am not alone in my writing dilemma. I read posts from people all the time lately about how much they don't really write anymore, that the internet has crunched us all into short attention span status updates that are 140 characters or less..that people miss sites like this where they can just let loose

i am one of those that lament not writing as much (hell, hardly at all). one of the ways that i am changing this is by not going through a totally public forum.

there is a group of knitters that i am involved with, and we participate in a RAK (random acts of kindness). sometimes a RAK can just be a card or a postcard. i've been RAKing people left and right with some real mail. and contained in this real mail are bits and pieces of my writing.

it's not big, but i am writing. good luck with your experiment.

I'm having a hard time.
I mean to write more, but there are hiccups where there didn't used to be, ad I am not ready to write over them.
