had one of your closest friends who is deploying to Afghanistan shortly ask you to make him a rune necklace, which 2 runes would you pick??

I've been burning them into Oak Chips and thought I knew exactly which ones I wanted to use. Now I'm not sure about it and this is one thing I really need to be sure about. Suggestions?

My gut reaction was to immediately say Algiz and Eihwaz, although I'm intrigued by the suggestions of Raido andTeiwaz, which seems quite appropriate, too.

only 2 for the necklace/talisman he'll be wearing or carrying. I'm making a whole set for him to take as well...but any more than 2 gets really bulky and heavy
Algiz was a given already and is carved into the back of both chips...so technically I guess there are 3. It's the other two that I kept wavering on.
I think I've got it though..
