So does anyone know if there is a way to grab all of your LJ entries at once and make them "Friends Only" or if i have to keep going through and do it one by one......

Please let me know asap if there is, as this is driving me bonkers.

Yes I am going through and not deleting my old entries but making them all Friends only, so that all of my LJ

Well, if this means I'm not going to be able to read your posts, this makes me sad (for purely selfish reasons, of course!). But you need to do what you need to do, so there's no judgement here.

sounds like louise might understand if she saw what "goes on" with this type of thing. people just don't get it unless they see it, and then they get hooked. though i suppose not all would be in to this type of thing.

She is nuts about the whole internet thing and "internet friends" and thinks it is just "weird" and we are all "freaks".
Drives me insane.

Haven't had the balls to approach neighbour yet.

why not just make a new lj? leave the old one there for your and everyone elses nostalgic purposes but just add everyone to your new one and start a fresh on there?

Ah, now I see why you had the interest in the new anon blogging. I told my bf about my blog, once he'd worked out that it wasn't just for when you 'go en vacance and put pictures up there for your friends' he just got pissed off cause I'd put pix up of him (I couldn't help it, I love photos) and so i took them down.
He did get jealous when I jokingly proposed marriage to Gregory Surlyboy though. But now he really doesn't care about it, just if I'm spending too much time on my computer he gets a little pissed off cause he wants to hang with me or whatever...
It's annoying to have to hide. I think this person is being silly, prob isn't a writer type person so doesn't get it.
I'm not much help with advice am I? But I do understand, if that helps!

dee. you can make some of your posts private - if you want to keep the same blog but don't want her to see all the old stuff, you're going to have to go through and edit... it won't just vanish on it's own i'm afraid.

Even "private" will show up on archive that there was a post on that day though won't it???

Also, you closed down your old LJ didn't you? How did you do that?
