I wish I could just forget about practicalities and go to Splendour. It's one of the best festival lineups I've seen for a while *sigh*

But woot for you teaching class!! It's great when you can find something you're good at, and enjoy doing, and can make a career out of!! Go tiger :)

If you let yourself give it a go, you might be amazed at how addictive it is. i go to at least 10 classes a week now - i can't stop!!

hahaha everytime I attempt to exercise, I end up injured :(
So maybe I need a good instructor like you to curb this problem!

You haven't been doing those lunges again have you? No matter how much i love going, i still HATE lunges with a burning passion! I would love if you weren't 5416874351 miles away, you could be my guinea pig! Stretch well, before and after is the best advice i can give you to avoid injury!

actually no! :(
i decided to do an old aerobics tape from the 80's and they made you do a lot of jumping around on your tippy toes.. and i hurt both my calves. then the next day i power walked somewhere and it was a steep decent, and an even worse incline on the way back.. and hurt my shins.

Im broken :(

Oh gosh, yeah, shins are the worst. It's the downhill that would have done that to you... You have to try not to get faster on the downhill, even though gravity makes it feel like it would be easier, it's bad on your shins. To fix them you might want to try tap tap tapping your toes (like heel flat on the ground and just lift your toes up & down, if you get what i'm trying to say?). That will strengthen your shins a bit. Be careful and don't break yourself too much (at least not BEFORE your birthday!)
