So here's some culture clash: I'm playing Age of Empires and join a custom game set up by some Chinese kid. Fine. We are together in a team vs 2 computer allies. Fine. I fail to notice however, that not only does he set the AI on Easy (which is OK, because he was clearly a new player), but he also enables cheats. How lame can you be? Seriously. He ( Read more... )

yes, and just think about how much people spend on that alcohol. Hrmmm, 12$ bottle of wine, 5$ per glass, 7 glasses per bottle. Or better yet, those 10$ martinis we had, 20$ for a bottle of fancy vodka which could make 15+ martinis.

I don't really understand the CKJ mentality either. Even back during the starcraft days you never wanted to play against them because they cheated the battle.net servers. But I guess that's only really an issue with the kids over the internet. At the internet cafes in korea they all seem to play fair, but I guess cause they have to (restricted access.)

Well, we haven't filled in receipts yet, so I suppose we'll see how much profit they make from booze.

And shame on you. Shouldn't you be debugging code or training monkeys to replace middle management or something?

I have my routine. Come in early, check my e-mails and my usual news sites. Fight the urge to run home and fall asleep. Then get some work done and work my ass off until lunch time. Have lunch, do the internet rounds once more and then be hazy, lazy and overall useless for the rest of the day unless I'm really on a roll like I was yesterday.

I dunno what it is about lunch time that just makes me so lethargic. Maybe the 10 minute stroll around the office complex was what helped me out yesterday after lunch. I dunno. *shrug* I still feel like I'm performing averagely, I work hard for a small burst and burn out the rest of the day.
