I got laid off.
It's funny how the previous journal entry is about my new job and how happy I was about it. Well, just this morning, instead of receiving my new Alienware PlayStation2/PC controller in the mail, I received a letter from Cambridge Learning Centers. It says they found a better candidate and wished me luck on my job search. I worked a total of one

Sadly, that's pretty much the state of the job world in this hemisphere. No one ever wants to be bothered telling someone bad news face-to-face. It's either through a letter, or they just have their assistant do it.
