Heh, Thimot, we just, know things. Ipod, is good, if its free. If you ahve to pay fro your own thinbgs, I think people would wise up. But, consideering that isn't the case, amost ever, in Dallas, Ipod works just fine.

Im not saying,m teat I have heard a single complaint from anyone who dsoesnt use an ipod, and ipod users are logging in complaints now en amsse to me. 1 hour battery life= shitty.

No the problem is people don't realize there are a lot of alternatives out there that are just as good. I've had my rio karma since before iPods were even released, and before that I had a cheap archos jukebox that was nothing more then a portable ATA hardrive with a music player adapter.
And now there are plenty of companies that are releasing all kinds of crazy media players with tons of features. (like the archos dvr player that can play music and record movies off your TV and watch them, or if your looking for cheaper alternatives, Rio has plenty of smaller harddrive players that are cheap but loaded with all sorts of cool programs, like the DJ program which is an AI program that pays attention to what you listen to, and can pick out music for you depending on mood etc.)

People hear Ipod and they think its the only thing out there, and its just not.
There are sooo many better players out there, and its ridiculous that people should buy something just because its the same one everyone else has.

I am gonna side with Thimot on this, jsut because, well, people think Ipod is the oly solution. Whether it be because they dotn reasearchj or anything, whatever you may do. Iriver does have adsa in esquire, adn they definetely rock harder tahn U2. Next upgrade, I think I am moving to the Movie Iriver where you can upload mpegs,etc. I just like it. And Gula, Yeah, nothing Lithium last forever, but Iriver , its just so so easy to change the battery if need be. Its jsut a simple *pop* and I am ready to go.

And enver, nevre ever will I bash a hphoto ipod, those things are just cool. Trust me I like yours. And at least you knew there were other things out there.

And the only reason I sway Ipod battery life dies faster is because, I have seen at least 4 of my friends alone who have had there batteries decrease at an alarming rate. My iriver actually gets better battery now than whn I first got it.

I hate my iPod. I told my parents not to buy me one, but they don't listen. Now we shipped it back because the stupid battery died completely.
