So. Yeah. I'm insane. And I wanted icons. So I figured -- I've already prepped and colored and prettified all of these caps for the PQPSmallville tumblr, I could turn them into icons easily, right? I mean, it's kinda cheating, and, you know, I AM THE HACKIEST HACK WHO EVER HACKED, but hey -- whatever. PRETTY ICONS! And then I really got into it and made it a game and lo and behold, I made a thousand icons.
No, really. I'm not being hyperbolic. I. made. ONE. THOUSAND. ICONS. from [most of] the PQPSmallville crap I posted.
And because I wouldn't be me if I didn't tell you guys stuff you totally don't care about, here are some very important details from the icon-making part in this ridiculous adventure [that I've now resigned myself IT IS ENDLESS]:
1. For the first time in I don't know how long [ever?], I made several icons from the same images. [Ugh, I used the word "several". So sorry.]
2. I cropped these manually and then I made a freaking Photoshop action to color/contrast/sharpen-correct the cropped images. Move on, we've already established that I AM A HACK.
3. Keeping with the hilarity [LAZINESS], if an icon has text on it, then it came from THE EXACT SAME LYRICS I posted in the corresponding big image at the tumblr. I'm obviously not listing the music here because hi, ONE THOUSAND ICONS, but you wanna know what any tiny text says, feel free to ask.
4. There are a bunch of textless icons in there and they feel wrong and weird but I'm trying it as a new thing, K? K.
5. If you see an image at the tumblr and there isn't an icon of it, either of two things are true: a) I didn't make the original image; or b) I tried to make an icon out of it and it came out looking like ass [alternate!future!Ollie, I'm looking at ya, pal].
6. Obviously these are mostly Chloe and Oliver and Chloe/Oliver icons [with a dash of Tess because Photoshop loves Cassidy Freeman more than everyone else in the entire world, trufax], because in the Loserville I watch they have lots of sex and fight crime 24/7 and that other dude with superpowers is just a nuisance I have to put up with.
7. Oh, this has nothing to do with the icons, but keeping with the ridiculousness -- I made a syndicated account for the tumblr [actually, I made it ages ago and forgot to mention it], so you guys can get our spam straight in the flist: pqpsmallville. /big pimpin'
