Well... that's one problem solved. Donna's got her place back, now we need to see if she invites him to move in there. After those revelations from Peter's downstairs neighbor, it's obvious she doesn't want to stay there.

So her temp gig is ending, and she wants to think about more permanent things. Good, as long as Peter is involved. Nice that her charitable organization will be funding Maddie's project, that was a unique way of doing the interview, and she had no idea what hit her!

So.... when's the Doctor going to come and try to ruin everything? I hope he can come to terms, this is his best friend he's dealing with, and she deserves every bit of happiness she can wrench from life after what he pulled!

I can always count on you to comment within what seems likes minutes of my posting and I value your opinions. Donna has plans, but as always, the devil is in the details and timing has always been a problem between her and Peter.

Donna is ready to make some major changes in her life and put down permanent roots at last. She's stopped looking and she's finally at peace with her past, but that doesn't necessarily mean her past is at peace with her future. The measure of a man is in how he deals with misfortune, and our Doctor is terrible with losses, especially when he's the cause.

Thanks for the kind words, as always.

You're right, the Doctor is terrible with losses (although it seems that this new one is more than willing to accept losses of those outside his circle). When he causes them directly, as with Donna, though, I imagine he will carry that with him for the rest of his lives. He knows he will outlive almost everyone he meets and that everyone leaves him eventually, but he simply cannot deal with it. Oftentimes, he internalizes it and doesn't visibly mourn the loss, but when it finally comes out.... everyone needs to beware.

I was so caught up in Peter and Donna I had clean forgotten about the Doctor until DM12 mentioned him!

"The measure of a man is in how he deals with misfortune, and our Doctor is terrible with losses, especially when he's the cause."

*Wibbles* so true, and so ominous eeeek I just want Donna to be happy, Peter is so perfect with her…and puling her off the couch to seduce her on the floor…wow, I need a cold shower, SO HOT!

While I can imagine why Peter might've laughed, at least he didn't disrespect Donna's horror. He's just not the type, is he? No, but distraction is one of his weapons. Good thing Donna had the discipline to wait. And yes, he needs to learn to leave plenty of treats alone. I know the feeling... :/

Did Donna tell him that the gig is ending? Will that trigger a question from one or both? I could imagine them in a race to put together the perfect proposal. ;D

Loved the interview undercover. As soon as Donna mentioned Noble Endeavors I knew she was behind it. Lucky Maddie! And it sounds like lucky Ian for a second chance. :D

Um, Donna is right. Ask any DT fangirl. *fans self and not from the Arizona hat* Okay, how much longer until they're living at her place and how much longer before... say... a proposal hits the ears of a certain giraffe? These happy times can't last too much longer, as much as I want them to.

As always, good to see you posting! :D

No, Peter wouldn't disrespect Donna, but I think he's just too inured to the seedier side of human nature that an honest, loving act holds little shame for him. He'll be careful not to disturb his neighbors in the future, but that would extend to not playing music too loudly as well as indulging in other pleasures.

Donna hasn't told him -yet- about C&G coming to an end, but she has her sights set on something more rewarding now, and sooner rather than later. Everything is going along so nicely, and I don't know about you, but that's just about when my life would go to Hades in a handcart.

And, as always, thank you so much for indulging my obsession and actually taking the time to comment on it, especially with all you've got going on right now. I'm already at work on the next part, so life is good.
