Oh the flat must be just lovely. Can I move in?

Oh, sweetness, it's big enough for you and I both. We've only seen what's on two of the four walls so far. I so wish I could draw- I can see it so clearly in my head.

Thanks for reading and I hope all is well with you.

I'm always so excited when a new chapter of this pops up on my flist! These two have my heart.
Your description of her flinch when he brushed her temple was impeccable, this whole thing is such a pleasure to read, I never know when things are going to happen.

You know- and I'm fully aware of how sad this is- I've never had any sort of celebrity crush before DT. There have been actors I though were handsome and a few I think would be fun to have a drink with, but no one has ever made me actually feel anything like what I suffer through with Peter Carlisle. I can't even think of how many times I've watched/listened to Blackpool (it's on my phone), and when I'm working, I turn it on and flip it over so I can just listen while I'm on the computer. I still get that twinge in my chest when he's telling Natalie how he feels, and the look in his eyes when he has to pretend he doesn't know her in front of her husband. And I'm not even going to mention the other scenes of a more intimate nature....guh!

It's a good thing he doesn't really exist, as I have no idea what I'd do to earn a living in the UK when I abandoned my current life to stalk him.

Thanks so much for reading and even more for the kind comments. I'm off to write the next segment now,

You are making me want to go watch Blackpool again!
DT is so incredible as Peter Carlisle. I love those scenes you mention, he's so woobie and then so HAWT ♥

Glad to see you've updated! The flat sounds absolutely gorgeous, inspired by that lovely atrium in Pompeii. That was nice, open and airy; I can see why she would have loved it. And the security measures are definitely there, but hidden discreetly. Peter is so sweet, considering Donna's mother's feelings into the equation.

Her summary of When Harry Met Sally seemed apt for another situation, but that boat has sailed. Two long time friends finally realize they are more to each other than just mates? Hmm.... I wonder if that would spark any memories? Her reaction when his hand went to her temple was a bit scary.

Donna's time-sense is still there, I see, and her sense of someone being there. That confrontation is coming soon.

Things are getting busy around here with the holidays coming up, so I might not get to comment as immediately or often. I will read when I can, though!

I'm busily writing tonight, although I should be working. I'm hoping to get the next installment out before the end of the month. It's getting a bit easier, now that I've got most of the dialog written. And I just thought Donna would enjoy the subliminal significance of When Harry Met Sally. It just works for me.

Oh, I know how the holidays are, believe me. I'm just thankful that you take the time to read this. I'm trying to get more done before the holidays arrive, but at least I'm not going out of town for Thanksgiving or Christmas.

Take care and thanks so much for the kind words.

Okay, I want a place like that. :)

Wow. A lot of hints that could have hurt her months ago, but apparently are largely harmless now. Except for the touching her temples. That one... not so easy to forget on the most primal level.

Oh, Jack... when are you going to realize that the Doctor is in the wrong?! Or that you're causing Donna fear and pain? Argh!

A lovely chapter, as always. Now I just need to make time for my own fics. :)

Good to see this up. You tightened a little here and there and it works beautifully.

The flat sounds lovely, and I know all of us wish we could move in there together!

Peter's concern about Sylvia's acceptance of him is noble (no pun intended) and immensely practical. It would make their lives all that much more comfortable if they didn't have the Wrath of Sylvia always hanging over their heads.

I giggled again at her time sense!

And, as I said in the email: "When the Doctor Met Donna" - coming this summer to a cinema near you!

So she can sense/feel Jack. Is that because her Time Lord self (as it was with the Doctor) senses the "wrongness" in him? I'm sure he's not there to upset her, just to observe so he can report back to the Doctor that she is well and happy, and for him to just bugger off and leave them alone.
