OMG! Was that you in the Vashta Nerada costume? I was there, too! I haven't been on LJ and it only occurred to me right this minute that other people here might have gone! That costume was fantastic! I was about four rows ahead of you in the photo op line.

You know, for someone I like, I just started hating you a little bit.

No, unfortunately, I'm still stuck in the wilds of Texas, but I'm watching all the Twitter feeds and holding out hope for a DT visit a bit later this year at a yet-to-be-announced visit to another Con I've already got tickets to. The rumors are strong, and I am weak, so please expect a major explosion if it comes true. Hope you had an excellent experience.

Oh! I hope you don't mind me saying "good", because I was already beating myself up at missing the chance at meeting you and was trying to figure out how we could meet up in the next hour (I check out of the hotel at 4:30 in the morning to catch my plane). I wish you could have been here, though. The DT experience was lovely (the rest of the con was "meh" but only because none of the other panels were aimed at my interests - my fault entirely) and he is a sweetheart. I'll be writing up a journal entry on the plane tomorrow. :)

Which con is it, by the way? So that I can keep an eye on it, too. Not that I can go to it, but I can dream. And he'd start to think I was a stalker, showing up at all these cons and asking him to sign weird things.

I hope he does go to that con, though, because you will love him. He is a real sweetheart.

THANK YOU! That's such a lovely thing to say. Umm, I'm working on Close Encounters, I swear. I've been on vacation, though, and having a great time with little to no internet connection. Back to the real world!
