Well, I'm back in the USA and had a wonderful visit in NYC with some friends who I hadn't seen for too long. I was supposed to be back in Seattle yesterday, but my flight was late, so I got to spend a fun-filled night in an airport hotel in St. Louis (fabulous view of... the airport

You should have told me when you were going to be in NYC, but it doesn't matter because I couldn't have met you there anyway, because I was on a bike trip in Rhode Island. Although actually I WAS in NYC for about two hours on the way back, and theoretically could have extended that to longer, but I was too exhausted and eager to get home in any event.

Anyway, if you hit the east coast again on the way back, let me know!
