You're going to want to be a specific business for tax and liability purposes. If you can, I highly suggest becoming an LLC. I'll be back home in Washington tomorrow for the next week and a half (mostly job hunting), but if you want to give me a call I can probably talk about it in a bit more detail.
Also, Seattle is one of a few WA cities that charges a B&O (Business & Occupation) tax as well, based on how many hours inside the city limits you work. So make sure to keep damn good records of that shit.
