I suppose this is a bit out of the blue but there's someone here who could really use that healing talent of yours. The wounds themselves aren't life threatening but let's just say I doubt he'll want those scars to remember the time by.
I'm not even sure he's ready to be healed just yet but if you could help out when he is- [slight amusement] I guess there's not much I could offer to pay you back. I'd owe you one at least, if that means anything.
I hope you're doing alright by and by, I can't say I know you too well but I can recognize distraction in a person when I see it.

I guess this is all part of adaptation, settling in, finding something like normalcy in the chaos. In a way I feel like I'm betraying my old job even getting something like comfortable here- though I wouldn't call this comfortable so much as 'forced tolerance.' I have yet to meet my roommate, a Japanese woman by the sound of the name. I guess with aliens apparently breathing down our necks co-ed living isn't much of a concern.
Wayne, Tim, Cissie- one of you, do you know if it's possible to change rooming assignments? Out of curiosity's sake.
