So I did a bit of Christmas shopping today. Here are my thoughts:

1) I don't like this new trend of photographs as the covers of novels. It's a violation of imagination.

2) I noticed that the tagline for the film Misery, as printed on the DVD, goes: "Paul Sheldon used to write for a living. Now he's writing to stay alive." The tagline would ( Read more... )

the best violator of imagination is the imagination, as you so cunningly illustrate.

"a living" has become qualitatively different than "staying alive" since saturday nigh fever.

what did you get me? i got you some cheese. then i almost had sex, drank 8 beers and watched kinsey. i love you like a son. the son whose address i'll never have.
