Actually, if i'm not mistaken, although theres a good chance I am, we don't have to give up draft picks because it is after Dec 1st.

But man, the signing of Feliz is so maddening. Why? Whats the purpose? Hopefully, their hope in signing him is to TRADE him away ASAP, because if you dont watch him everyday, you might be fooled into thinking this is a good player, which we all know those 98 RBI's mean absolutely nothing since 80 of them were when they were up or down by 10 runs (made up stat, but you get the point), and he had about 400 chances.

But opposing pitchers will smile when they come to our town or we come to theirs., That is the least intimidating line up outside maybe the Royals.

ah. i read that we lost two picks for dave roberts, but perhaps that was incorrect. they probably delayed the signing long enough to avoid that.

yeah, feliz. ugh. i'd much rather let frandsen have third base, and see if he can find his legs at the big league level. when's the last time the giants have developed their own full time position player? i wanna say rich aurilia. and he broke in a DECADE ago. oh wait, but pedro feliz would count, right?! bleh.
