Day 12: Whatever Tickles Your Fancy
I truly hate these "whatever tickles your fancy" days and am disappointed there are so many of them in the meme.
So, um, let's go with favourite Doctor Who podcast since it's not otherwise on the list.
If I went with the self-congratulatory route, obviously I'd pick Radio Free Skaro since I produce and present it, but I'll not go that route and instead pick my favourite other Who podcast. There are really only a few that I listen to, mostly because the content is similar between a lot of podcasts. In several cases I won't listen to something because the content of a niche show isn't anything I care to hear about (I'll not name names). Regardless, there are only a handful of podcasts which get my ear, top amongst them is the wonderful Two-minute Time Lord. Chip, the host, aside from being a wonderful guy who I was glad to have met last Gally, takes an interesting approach to some of his topics... and many of his viewpoints are not shared by me. We've (all in good spirits) butted heads the occasional time over a given point of view, as is common in fandom, but if nothing else a lot of the topics he chooses are ones which make you think. Plus it's all presented in a bite-sized format which makes listening so very easy versus other podcasts which ramble.
Bonus pick: The Minute Doctor Who Podcast, essentially the only Who video podcast with (somewhat) regular releases. As with 2MTL, Luke presents a wide variety of interesting and thought-provoking subjects. Highly recommended.
