BREATHE, WOMAN! You will live through the surgery. (In fact, it'll likely help... and if it doesn't you've got a wicked horror story!) You're real mom might suck, but as your pseudo-mother I deem you loved loved loved (by me at the very least!) Bills are evil... eeeeevil... but you are a poor college student... milk it for all the pity you can! DE-STRESS=YES! Do it!! I recommend screaming out the window or off the balcony... my personal favorites. Or general screaming/crying/pillow-bashing. Or that hug thing. I'm sure you will live, but even if you don't, know that I will cry the loudest at your funeral, with the weeping and the moaning and the dirt in my hair stuff, even...
