I didn't wear it to do archery. That would have been asking entirely too much. :)

My goal is to not break it before Autocrats and I've mostly achieved that. It sits at just the right place on your hip that it ends up under those plastic chairs we use for feasts (standard community centre stacking chairs) and then when you get up, it temporarily catches and pulls on you. Of course, it may have been designed for someone a lot taller than us.

Sadly regalia has to be made to fit "everyone" which usually means it fits no one properly.

I enjoyed reading about Pikeman's from your perspective.

I know that last year the Calontir fighters were right beside ours on the battlefield at Pennsic, and I think they sometimes fight together. Maybe you can get someone to direct you or escort you to their kingdom camp from the battlefield.

[[Unfortunately, there wasn't time to get any contact information from him.]]

I can help you find Rhodri at Pennsic. He's squired to a good friend of mine, Sir Fernando, who is one of the coolest people you'll ever meet in the SCA.

I'm very glad you performed. And *I* enjoyed your poem. It was lovely. It reminded me of Etaoin.

I'm glad you enjoyed it.

I got spoiled performing at court at Dandelion. You could have heard a pin drop during my pauses. People are pretty quiet during an investiture.
