Since many bardic circles at Pennsic do not advertise and merely rely on word of mouth, if anyone at Pennsic this years finds out about anything that you think I should know about, please let me know

The main reason is lack of place to hold it. There are only so many people I could fit into my tent. :)
I suppose some year, I could volunteer to run one for Ealdormere. But, there isn't enough time to plan for this year.
I loved the Celtic one I went to years ago. One cool thing they had was a treasure table that guests were supposed to take something from as they left. It was a nice touch of hospitality. I'd have to start collecting stuff found here and there ... I am on a budget.
BTW - I took beads from the treasure table. I strung them and I still wear them to every event. It's a nice memento fromt he bardic circle that convinced me that I wasn't crazy to want to be an Irish bard who did authentic stories.
