That cat macro actually fills me with a strange kind of hope. ^^; Sorry to hear you may not be able to have another kitty in the future... Hopefully your old gal toughs it out for a long while to come! I know we had neighbours once who had this ancient old beast of a cat, and it still came outside and hobbled around in the yard quite happily. They can last a long time, cats. I think because whatever they are made of is so stretchy! :D
<3 The plague is going around. I hope you feel better soon. I know my dad had a crazy ear thing recently, so maybe that is going around too?
I love this one...it makes me sniffly but yeah, it's got wonder & hope in it. ^___^
I inherited my grandmother's venerable Siamese with the house, & she lasted to age 23! She tottered happily around my yard, blind & mostly deaf (with that distinct Siamese yowl, lol), looking like an escapee from Pet Semetery, terrifying my meter reader. XD A total sweetheart, though--180 from her younger days, when she was notorious among the family: a terror to anyone who dared visit my grandparents! I miss her lots.
I feel better (only sleeping 20 hours a day, ha), but the crazy-ear thing is still going on. My mom has the plague too, though, so I've been going out to the farm to commiserate & knit. ^^
