Sooooo, what does Patti Smith (the person, the idea, or the performer) mean to you??

She doesn't directly mean that much to me personally. I haven't listened to much of her music yet, but she did influence people who influenced people that I listen to. I enjoyed the article mostly on its own for being well written and for pointing out that interesting conflict of being the established anti-establishment.
