You'd be right on that, but I intend to unveil which of it all are truths and lies as soon as I've gotten my bearings.

What I do know is that we're never actually safe here. Th' ones who bother contactin' us claim they want ta help us survive, but they're actions speak differently. We're likely not very high on they're priority list an' we're always in danger by one thing or another.

Every time we prod fer information they jus' evade the question or tell us that we're not authorized ta know. [Along those lines.] If yer not good at survivin' alone, ya better make some good friends. We're all barely makin' it by.

If yer stuck in Discedo, at least th' food is bein' restocked there. I ain't sure of Spero, but Dissiumulo we constantly hafta ta make trips ta Discedo ta get food.

Hmm, well the restocking is good news. As I'm being told, I am located in Discedo.

Though, you've failed to mention that the scientists are our kidnappers, or are you skeptical of that? I suppose you wouldn't have more information on what sort of science they dabble in--other than multi-dimension teleportation.

[He could believe they're kidnappers. He usually referred to them as culprits, but no one could follow him when he started doing that. He had to bite his tongue and address them like everyone else so they would understand him.]When I first arrived here, I was informed that they were tryin' ta rebuild th' population here. I was told that all th' original natives aren't here, but there's no evidence fer such. There isn't any MO, or at least one that's obvious as ta who they take an' why. If they really wanted ta rebuild th' town they would have target preferences, an' there is none here based on th' people ya see. We're more than likely they're test subjects, but there's no solid evidence fer that either

All that I can gather is that it happened in a town called Accido some 5-600 hundred miles away.

We weren't told why it went off, just that we had ta leave Discedo if we wanted ta avoid th' fallout. No matter how much I prodded fer infermation he wouldn't tell me. There's wasn't much time ta persist fer answers given th' situation.

--and Dissimulo and Spero were the cities to travel to after, would that be an accurate guess? How far are those two cities from Discedo? Which direction are they? Which direction is Accido?

There was a mysterious location in th' east too, but it turned out ta be some over-cautious town an' everyone who went there returned ta Discedo.

If we use Discedo as the center focus, the Eastern destination that took roughly 11 days ta reach. It's th' farthest- Prolly around 400 miles. Spero is Northwest of Discedo, around 300. Dissimulo is Southeast an' roughly a little closer than Spero. I don't actually know the specifics because I traveled ta Dissimulo. Accido is North of Discedo.

For what reason did the eastern travelers abandon ship?

Prolly cause ya had ta cross water ta get ta it, Dissimulo ya can reach by foot.

In th' east the safely guarded town wouldn't let them near an' they were runnin' low on supplies. They were forced ta turn back.

((Clive audibly shakes his head.)) Nuclear radiation wouldn't have the same restrictions as a person who can neither swim long distances, nor fly over mountains. Like a radio signal it would have no troubles traveling to every location in a specific radius. It seems that Spero would have been affected more, or otherwise the risk to the eastern travelers would had to have been much greater due to that matter. Perhaps mountains prevented it, but a large enough mountain range to do that should have been enough to offer minor protection to Discedo.

Perhaps it's a trivial detail, but it will bother me nevertheless. Moving on...

What sort of damages did Discedo suffer prior to the explosion?

Travel was by boat, there are a few who know how ta operate one. Weather was most of their worries. They had acid rain fer a few weeks after, but I hear it's been mostly safe over there. There hasn't been much trouble as of recently.

Most of it is th' wildlife an' whatever yer scared inta believin'.
