Yes; I cringe to realize that I am indeed "one of those people." The ones who update their LJs biennially, and don't have much of anything to say when they do. However, I implore you to bear with me.

Heya, I wandered in here while checking out the Floydslash friends page. First of all, I love your icon. Second - I totally know what you mean about feeling really shy about commenting in communities and stuff. I was exactly the same about two years ago...when I was eighteen JUST LIKE YOU ZOMG (before I discovered the aforementioned community actually, heh heh.) So yeah, I just wanted to let you that you're not alone in that.

Also, your mentions of Adam Adam and "Total Eclipse" made me cream my jeans. You are clearly a being of superior taste.

Thank you for your comment; it quite cheered me up. Funny thing is, the first Floydslash I ever read was "Little Roger Riding Hood," and I've been lurking ever since. ;D Oh, and of course I dig your icon, too.

I have this thing in which I have to check the LJ of just about anyone who leaves any sort of comment that I like, and sometimes I'll read an entry or bio and go, in exaggerated, self-parodying, valley girl-like thought, "OMG! Connection! I totally relate ( ... )
