So if you're one of the very few people that actually checks this site, you might have noticed a problem the past week: no site.
TL;DR version: Ever since the database crash in January, things haven't worked well. A series of cascades later, I FINALLY have an updated script and database, and hopefully things will work better!

Welcome to my wedding blog! Just for the heck of it, I decided to write down things I learned and what I'm doing for my wedding. Who knows, it might be useful to someone! I'll be back-dating some posts because I didn't start this when I started, but I'll document everything I can think of. Might even add some pictures, who knows? -

There's something strangely satisfying about vehicular justice.
The other day as I drove home, the tollway I take had a wreck and I decided to get off early. Ok, so, I have just realized that I have gotten comments here, but LJ has not emailed me, despite my settings. *headdesk* So I apologize for not responding to comments made here! I'll make sure to check in here once or twice a month to see if comments have been made. Just so ya'll know that I apprecate what few comments I do get! ^_^ -
Counter bell
Dear Customer,
The bell on our counter is not a fucking toy. I don't care how much your kid likes the sound, push it away from them please.
Also, you don't have to ring the bell the instant you walk in. I know you're there, and if I'm on the phone, I can't get up and walk out there.

Gifting
I look forward to two gifts every Christmas. One is a gift card for Barnes & Noble or Amazon because I LOVE to read and since I'm constantly buying my own books, my mom never knows which ones to buy. Brake lights
So, driving to work this morning in rush hour, I realized that no two people use their brakes the same way. Some slam them on at the last minute, and some ride them for miles. But just having one set of brake lights doesn't really help. So I propose a new set of brake lights, which will activate different lights based on how hard you're pushing ( Read more... ) -

Hours of Operation
Dear Customer,
Our hours are clearly posted on the door. If you show up an hour and a half early, it's not my fault. If you show up a half hour after we close, that's not my fault.
