Space Heaters

My new apartment is a bit chilly.  As such, I've been looking into space heaters.  I ran across these instructions for finding the right space heater and using it properly.  I couldn't help but notice that this is pretty much the same advice that applies to dating:
  1. Select a space heater with a guard around the flame area or the heating element.

that is great - yes, sweaters and socks are useful in cold climes like northern california....and you considered living in new york??

That is completely true. Especially the part about needing a different type of heater if you live in a mobile home...

get the oil filled kind that looks kinda like a radiator with a cord coming off of it. they're slow to warm up, but the heat is much more pleasant, they don't burn dust into the air and they won't burn your house down.
