I came across this in my travels. It amused me - I hope it does you too.

At one time I was friends with someone who ran a supermarket, and he also collected shopping lists. He did it because he wanted to know what people would buy in his supermarket, and he was very happy when he found lists that included more than one supermarket, because then he would study them and wonder why people bought this product in his store and that product in another store.

That is very interesting, maybe there was a price difference between his store and the other stores.
