So I stayed home sick from work today because basically I felt like crap (felt, feel, whatever) and my day basically consisted of sleeping a lot and then some really bad television and tumblr BUT THEN:
I FINALLY SAW CRAZY STUPID LOVE.
This movie was such a mess but in a really fantastic way, you guys. I know I'm like, way behind the times here, but I am ridiculous amounts of in love with this movie. I'm not even sure that I have the words to express why.
Except can I just say that Hannah being Emily and Cal's daughter-- did not see that one coming at all. AT. ALL. I'm not sure if it's that I'm sick or they just crafted it really well because I can usually spot setups like that a mile away, but I just really enjoyed this one. And this was definitely a movie that left me wanting more. LOADS MORE. MOSTLY OF EMMA STONE AND RYAN GOSLING JUST DOING WHATEVER, I DON'T CARE.
ALSO: the whole time I was like "WHY does Jessica look so familiar???" and then I got to the credits and it said Analeigh Tipton and I was like "oh well now I feel stupid". I totally rooted for her on her season of Top Model.
Anyway POINT: this movie was just fantastic.
Other things:
--finishing the ficlet thingies from my meme the other night. should be posting them soon.
--it is October which means two things: I need to be plotting my novel for NaNoWriMo and I need to figure out what I'm wearing for Halloween.
--my mother kicked me out of my spot on the couch in the living room even though I am siiiiiiiick and have been there all day because she wanted to watch tv and I had like FOUR MINUTES LEFT OF MY MOVIE. so rude. whatever.
--Castle last night was amazing. Kevin Ryan is amazing. Seamus Dever is so wonderful that there just aren't words. Have I ever mentioned how much I love that Seamus's wife plays Jenny?
--Also,2 Broke Girls is quickly becoming one of my favorite new shows, just proving my theory that I will literally watch anything with Kat Dennings in it and love it, no matter how terrible it is.
--Also I am in love with Hart of Dixie. Seriously, take that show and smoosh it with FNL and a dash of Gilmore Girls and you essentially have my small Georgia town.
--WHICH IS RECOVERING FROM THE TORNADOES QUITE NICELY BECAUSE I SAW YESTERDAY THAT THE MCDONALDS IS NEARLY OPEN AGAIN, THANK FUCK. Much longer with the closest one being a 30 minute drive and I may have had to kill someone.
