and if it all goes crashing into the sea, if it's just you and me

THINGS OF NOTE--I have the flu. I seem to be on the getting-better-side (this started last week but really kicked off Thursday afternoon when I ended up having to go home early from work) but I guess the test will come tomorrow when I try to go back to work. We shall see. Blargh. At least it's not the barfy kind of flu is all I can say ( Read more... )

thinky thoughts, once upon a time, writing, etc

LOVED this episode of OUaT!!! There was so much revealed in this episode. I was unsure like you if I would like this take on it, but I DO! I loved the confrontation between Mr. Gold and Regina. He loves Belle enough to give up his name to his enemy; to admit that he knows. (Although, I thought he could just say please and she would do whatever he wanted, but we'll ignore that for now.)

I'm so glad they didn't kill off Belle. That would have made me upset because Belle's definitely my favorite princess.

All that being said, it crossed my mind that this could be the reason Rumple made the curse and gave it to the Queen. He wanted to find her; have his happy ending. So very intriguing!

I think Mary and David needs to break up until David mans up and makes a decision. We are definitely seeing that the curse has effected who these people are. David is not James Charming and Mary is not Snow. I hope they broke up, personally.

I haven't seen John Mayer at the Grammy's yet.

I didn't think that I would like this take on it either!! But there was just so much revealed in terms of motivation and what people know and I just....yeah.

I wouldn't have been okay if they'd killed her either. I would've laid the smackdown.

I hope they knew they wouldn't get away with killing off a princess...but these are the writers of Lost.

Robert Carlyle did some amazing acting tonight. (Not that he hasn't been great all season.)

I'm glad they are introducing these characters and giving them room to appear again. So far, I've been impressed with this shows interweaving of characters and story lines.

He really did. I haven't been this compelled by him for several episodes.

And yeah, so far the interweaving has been good. Did you HEAR THE ARIEL MENTION?

:( That sucks. Any particular reason?

It is almost Tuesday, dear. You will get a new episode then.

I mean, it was a fairly big episode, now that two characters have confirmed that they know, they have known all along, but I just was like, Huh? Oh. Whatev's. (i.e., did not care.)

I am sorry you aren't feeling well, lady! Get better soon!

No idea if John is there. I haven't seen him, but that doesn't mean anything - I mostly just have it on in the background. Taylor, however, rocked it tonight. I was very impressed.

I keep hoping I'll just wake up in the morning and magically feel better, lol.

I haven't seen anything about him, and I've been stalking tumblr to see if there are any pictures, but not yet. He was at Clive Davis's party last night though (and his hair was looking a little shorter THANK THE LAWD).

But yes, Taylor was fabulous.
