I feel like I haven't updated in nearly 1 bajillion years, so I want to start the year off right with a good ol' fashioned LiveJournal update! Woot.

New Years was awesome because Krystle and I embarked on a road trip to Connecticut, and this enabled me to spend time with some of my favorite people ever.

here's the proof:
Erik, Sean, Krystle, Dan, Felix:

New Year's Eve:
Beirut & OC Marathon...

Erik's Beer Muscles:

Can't think of a better way to ring in the new year...

Back at Che Clery we had much fun. New Year's day party w/ U.W. and the gang. Our weekend's festivities included: Scene it ["Apocolypse Now" vs. "Bicentenial Man"], Sims [Blasted basement.], Teen Titans [Silk worm?], Turkey Club BLTs, the "Finer Spices," a visit from Chelsea, fun sleepover w/ DT [in which every old school Nickelodeon show was discussed - Salute Your Shorts, Hey Dude, Nick Arcade, Legends of the Hidden Temple, Global GUTS, You Can't Do That On Television, Double Dare], naming my new monkey [Made of polyester] Jaime Torres, and of course singing and dancing [Motormouth style].
17 episodes of the O.C. later...

Much to our dismay, it was eventually time to leave...rather than go home, we decided to get uber lost, and make a 90 minute trip last over three hours! Way to go, us.
We should've done this: Saw Mill Parkway to NY Turnpike, over the Tappan Zee Bridge, to Route 17, to home.
Instead, we took the Saw Mill Parkway to the Bronx, through the Bronx to Manhattan, over the George Washington Bridge on to route 95, all the way past Newark, NJ to Kearny, and then we decided to make a U-turn. After grabbing a burger at the Vince Lombardi Rest Stop, we continued on route 95 (this time going north), but got a little carried away with the entire road trip idea, and accidently took the G.W.B. right back into Manhattan. We turned around, and this time grabbed Route 4 toward Paramus, then on to route 17, then home. It totally sucked, although we had many laughs (and a few tears in the middle of the Bronx on my part), we got to take some squeet pictures on the way...

Yankee Stadium & Giant's Stadium
(totally not even close to one another...One is in the Bronx, NY and the other is in East Rutherford, NJ)

A total of $22.75 in tolls...

George Washington Bridge x 3

Overall, I had one of the best weekends of my life...even getting lost turned out to be a really fun time (once we got found). I'm really psyched to start off a whole new semester with all of my Foxes -- including many not pictured!
