Well, I TRIED to dye my hair purple. I bought a bottle of bright purple, Special Effects hair dye. Last night, Pete came over and we put it over my bleached hair. I thought, well, bright purple hair dye + bleached hair = BRIGHT FREAKIN PURPLE HAIR, RIGHT

The Ph may have been off, or the bottle may have been old. I've always had good luck with Special Effects, so I don't know what went wrong. take heart in the knowledge that in 2-3 weeks it will have faded, and you can try again, this time with a different shade of purple (remember: nothing *ever* comes out quite the color it's supposed to, so always strand-test first)

Once I tried to dye my hair blue. It turned GREY. I looked like an old lady.
