Sounds like my kind of stuff! I'm currently reading Reading Lolita in Tehran, which is really interesting, especially if you love books and believe they are powerful, but isn't a quick read. After this I have two more. Haha. Then I'll borrow this one from you :)

You guys are so funny. I WISH I had time to read. On the T ride into work in the morning, I tend to read the Metro (so I at least know SOME of what is going on in the world, natch) although I should read the Globe that we get at the office. I don't usually take lunch, and when I do take lunch I go do errands, so can't read then. And then on the way home, I usually read a magazine, as I subscribe to something like seven of them! God, too many magazines you think? I would really like to start reading again, but then I don't want to read at night because I only have so much time before I fall asleep to watch TV, which I am obsessed with. I want to read the Narnia Chronicles again though. And I love chick lit. But I don't like heavy reads or nonfiction (usually).

Any suggestions?

I love talking about books with you and thanks for all the tips about great books! I'm so glad you've gotten into sci-fi, particularly dystopian and/or psychological ones, which was the kind I ran through in my late teens and early 20s... You gotta read The Dispossessed, girl! :-)
