I've been there. Try to force yourself to pick up your own hobbies--video games, books, just enjoy some time to yourself. And think of how awesome his body will be.

Problem is (and please don't tell him this) I actually rather like him a bit squishy. What I really look forward to is him feeling better about himself. That alone makes it worth it.

I will be making an effort to stop feeling deprived and start enjoying my alone time. I think my biggest problem is that he started this week, and I keep getting stuck alone on campus for hours after I'm finished with everything...and I haven't brought a book with me either time. I know better this week.

I also remembered that (oh, wow) there are not one, but five libraries on campus. Hayden even has a small collection of fiction.

Batteries for an mp3 player? What kind is it?

You should try Bolthouse Farms' vanilla chai drink. I think I may have told you about that once, not sure. Sprouts carries it, and (to me) it tastes like a liquid sugar cookie. Very yummy.

Keith's started going to the gym every other day now. (Two nights back to back). Just have to find something to do in the meantime. He tells me he's seen two guys there who are big in the top half of their bodies, but have little chicken legs.

Just triple-As, but I've got four or five of them at my house and none at John's and I don't want to buy more.

I don't know if you did tell me about it, but now I think I'll have to find my way out to Sprouts. Maybe on the way home after I spend time with my aunt the next time.

John's working out with one of his old roomies, who has them switching workouts every night. One night they'll do legs, the next upper body, the next full body, and so on.

Also, your cat's bobbing its head in time to the music I'm listening to.

I find it Exceedingly Useful to have rechargeable batteries. They're somewhat more expensive to start with, but over the long term I think it works out nicely. Plus, more environmentally friendly.

True...but a lot more expensive to replace when you leave them lying around who knows where. And they don't recharge in your backpack.
