Too Poor to Make the News (from the NYT)

It's horrible, if expected.  My great grandma who lived through the Great Depression said that they were already so poor that they hardly noticed...but then, she did grow up in Winslow, Arizona.

That'd work, I suppose. And hey, I'll cheerily go along with most kinks, so I suppose that'd give me an edge on some girls.

Also, my belly would then prove useful--I'd live longer because I've got fat to burn. ;)

So far, as long as my job continues to be secure, the depression is a good thing. Stuff that's normally out of my reach, like a house, is suddenly feasible if I can manage the initial down payment.
