Exactly--like Chase should've been hired as an intensivist ('cause there's pretty much a general shortage of them) and Cameron should've been hired as an immunologist, not an ER attending.
More Chase would be very good. Especially more Chase like the last ep where he told House to leave a message. Especially more Chase *not* hidden by a surgical mask.
I'm pretty damn sure she'll make the final cut. I thought that the moment I saw her resemblence to Cameron. Which I could live with if her personality wasn't resembling Cameron's more and more... or resembling one of Cameron's personalities anyway.

My only main preference on the new team is not having the black Mormon guy, mostly because the religion and race jokes heaped on one person would wear thin real quick, and he doesn't seem to have any dimensions beyond that.
I'm thinking the manipulative blonde (I don't remember her name) won't be hired for the same reason that Scooter wasn't - she's too much like House, though not as good at it and much less secure in herself. She might be a good foil for him, but House (and the producers) seems to be trying to avoid that, probably because they're keeping Foreman as the House-light. That leaves 13 as the obligatory female, which I don't really mind as long she isn't in love in House.
If the Mormon guy were to stick around, my guess is House wouldn't be quite so intent on provoking him. I think the fact that he managed to prod Big Love into hitting him kind of satisfied his need to annoy the crap out of people...at least for a couple weeks.
As far as 13... I know I'm saddling her with Cameron's baggage, which isn't fair to 13, but it's hard not to when, so far, she seems to be Cameron's (evil) twin. Actually, if she were Cam's evil twin she'd be a whole more entertaining.
HAHAH. I love how you just sank my slashometer with intellectual observations. BOO!
Okay, I'll climb briefly out of the House/Scooter gutter and agree with your comments relating to 24's clumsy manipulation attempts. Dude, she ain't no Wilson. But, hey, perhaps she can go to him for pointers and then maybe they can end up in a kind of pretzel shaped---OKAY I'M BACK ON TRACK NOW, I PROMISE. I like her and 13 together. 24 is not as smart as she thinks she is, and it would be awesome to see 13 get her back.
That Cuddy saw straight through 24 makes her go WAY UP in my books. However, wtf is with this sudden need for Foreman to control House? It reeks of UH OH WE NEED A PLOT DEVICE! It's sort of insulting, actually. Foreman never 'controlled' House, are we forgetting the Stacy arc so quickly? Also, House respecting Foreman? BARELY. VERY FUCKING BARELY.
My apologies--I would never try to deny anyone their slashy pleasure :-) But for me, altho I got all warm and happy when House and Scooter interacted, it just wasn't a gutter level reaction.
I, too, love Cuddy setting CTB straight in the clinic. And I love Cuddy pwning Foreman, but I'm *still* trying to puzzle out the reason for wanting Foreman to control House...when he's never done it before.
Black Mormon Guy has the personality of a Borg. Cameron v0.2 just needs to go the fuck away. And I'm getting sick of Blonde Bitch. She was amusing for the first couple of episodes. The whole act is just getting tedious now. And Cameron was seriously hanging around like a fart in a phone box this episode.
Though, I'd prefer Cameron to Cameron v0.2. I don't even know *why* they have a Cameron carbon copy. What's it supposed to prove? That House will see in her what is in Cameron and realise he loves her? Somehow, it's going to tie back in with Cameron, I reckon. It ain't going to be pretty, either.
Major fail to the writers for kicking out Henry. This episode pretty much held a good deal of suckitude. I'm getting sick of the whole new team thing, too. It's just becoming extremely repetitive and now that Henry's gone, there'll be no one to sustain my interest because no one else interests me in the new litter.
Lol I want to say something good about the episode but there was so much "meh" about it. D=

I don't either, except that they may be rebooting in an effort to get it right this time?? Personally, I think they'd be better off starting with a *new* character.
Major fail to the writers for kicking out Henry
Word. I honestly don't mind the newbies, at least in theory. However I don't like having newbies *and* Cameron to deal with.
Um... Cuddy laying it out for CTB in the clinic was a good thing ("sexual harrassment complaints go to HR, legal goes straight to Princeton PD") House going to Wilson's office to gloat about his cleverness was a good thing. Scooter was definitely a good thing (until he left which was a bad thing). So the ep wasn't a total loss :-)

Yeah. Argh. If that's the case, I don't even know why House would find her interesting beyond the fact that she's good-looking. I don't know - we got a pretty good indication from Stacy the kind of woman that would keep House interested. Cameron or any Cameron clone is far from any kind of Stacy. Or Cuddy.
Ohh. I forgot about that bit in the clinic. XD Actually, yeah. Lol, that was amusing.

I also vote for more Chase.

It's not just you; I've felt that way about her since the beginning. But I'd be willing to bet that she'll make the final team. Ugh.
