All in all not a bad ep. The medicine was insane--seriously. I mean if her foot was so cold she couldn't feel a displaced fracture of her big toe, her foot would've been dead from frostbite. But it's never really about the medicine, is it?
Foreman: He's been wooing me for years.
So House is capable of caring for a woman...as long as she's not in the same hemisphere. Sorry, but we've seen House be attracted/intrigued as much by other females who have crossed his path. I don't see Kate provoking any great romantic urges in him (other urges, probably) however, if this is meant to show that House is a little more receptive to human connection then it does kind of fit with some of what we've seen with House this year, especially his relationship with Wilson.
Wilson: They frown on topless oncology
And speaking of Wilson: lots of Wilson tonight and he was totally adorkable. I loved the cat and mouse games with House trying to find out who Wilson's new love is. I loved House's reaction when he saw who Wilson's love interest is. The question now is--now that Wilson's love life is thawing, what is House going to do about it?
Oh, and we found out that Wilson has fallen down the stairs, drunk, at some point and House did nothing. Not surprising.
House's insomnia is now canon.
House to Wilson: You're not dating Cuddy; you're straight.
Like House has never heard of a beard. But beyond that--a SERIOUS lack of Cuddy AGAIN. Don't get me wrong--I'm all for some Wilson loving, but I want my Cuddy too.
Kutner: No.
I continue to love Kutner. He's a goof, but he's not stupid--he did get the correct diagnosis. 13, otoh, continues to be a complete waste of space. As is her evil twin. Honestly, there seemed to be no point to Cameron other than to keep the newbies away. And if we don't need the newbies, then why did we hire them?
The best... promo for the next ep. I was lmao and squeeing at the same time. Try it, it's not easy ;-)
