I roughed out this fic a year ago, but it never quite developed the way I though it would/should. Still, it hits a couple of decent notes so I finished it off and well, now you can decide whether it was worth the effort.

Interesting ending to the season three cliffhanger - I like Wilson's calm demenor slipping, and though I didn't *like* the end on a visceral scale, I liked it with the story. Well done :)

I don't like the idea of Wilson leaving either. It was one of those ideas I had to explore because it made sense to me that it *could* have happened, given the circumstances.
