I swore I wasn't going to write a post- Wilson's Heart tag. Except...I kept musing over House's behavior after Chase fries his brain. We don't really see House talking or even reacting much to anything after that and I got to wondering what if it took a while for his circuits to reset

This is shorter than it seems. You've captured House's inertia and confusion very well. The ending is so reflective of how well House knows his own limits, as well -- banter with Cuddy aside.

And the one thing I would beg to differ about is that given that I do actually have primary epilepsy (as opposed to House's secondary epilepsy), I was given a pledge sheet by my neurologist that actually forbade baths, swimming, etc. for six months after the last seizure I have, plus the year Michigan says I can't drive every time. Whoo hoo.
Baths are frowned upon because if we lose consciousness, we will also lose muscle control and drown in the sitting water. At least with showers, it's not as likely. Of course, his skull has already been cracked open, but since he probably uses a safety bench in his shower anyway, it really wouldn't be an issue.

Actually, House doesn't have epilepsy (not yet anyway.) A single, post-traumatic seizure isn't diagnostic of epilepsy. He would still have restrictions because of the seizure...which I'm pretty sure he would ignore at the first opportunity.
