In need of a fic intervention

Is there such a thing? Usually writers are looking for inspiration/cheerleading/a kick in the pants. I don't want that. I need to STOP writing. Not completely--I don't want to quit writing everything--I just want to stop one particular fic. So is there a (temporary) 12 step program for writers?

If you need it: STOP WRITING.

And a milligram of Xanax an hour before any driving trips with sproglets is probably the way to go. *nods*

Or maybe the night before -- you know, so you actually are able to sleep and don't spend the night worrying madly. *nods some more*

Or at least, NOT until you've finished it!!! You'll regret it if you don't.

Um, where can we read it, or are you going for pulication?

Oh, and trust the kid - he'll be fine! 8-)
BTW, I've still got the Iowa quarter dollar I swapped with him last time we did York. 8-)

I know, I know LOL I will finish it if only because it'll drive me crazy if I don't. In fact, that's one of my summer projects...we'll see how far I get with it.

Publish? That's a nice dream.... I'll probably just post it to my dw account and be done with it.

The kid is driving me nuts, which yes, means he's fine for a teenage boy :-0 He has his own car now, and a job so he can pay for the gas. And he has a girlfriend. Oi.

A couple of weeks ago he asked when we'd be traveling back across the pond. I wish. I should get our passports renewed, though, just in case the opportunity arises.
