One of the worst serial rapists in Canadian history has suddenly plead guilty mid-trial.

I find it rather odd that media here has been completely silent, considering the all out blitz that followed Paul Bernardo.

...wonder why they're not reporting it?

I'm afraid I've not heard anything of this, or of Paul Bernardo.

Still, at least it sounds like the judicial system - most importantly, some of the witnesses and victims - will be spared recounting intensely traumatic events, even if there's no real means to wipe those experiences away.
