I've been a fan of his art for quite some time now. Sad to hear that he has passed. :(

I am reminded of the stunning (shocking to some) tattoos that my friend Corin had.

Wow, one of the true founders of the fandom :(

I must've encountered his work, but I don't seem to have a Tor folder in my furry artwork directory, and his FA gallery is a bit sparse - is there somewhere with some examples? (Not to be confused, I believe, with Torrle)

Here's his wiki page: http://en.wikifur.com/wiki/TOR

Tim O'Rourke was his name. Torrle is definitely a different person.

I'm not sure where else I've seen his stuff. I just remember it being some of the first among my favorite "furry" art.

I'm sad, as well. Best cervine artist ever, hooves down. Great guy, too.

Curious about Corin's tats. Are you willing to share some details?

I'm thinking I may have "met" Tim once at a con a long time ago. But, furry conventions tended to be a bit of a blur for me. So I'm not sure.

Corin had a bunch of pretty amazing tattoos. I don't think they were all Tor's work. But at least a couple were.

I'll have to look for a picture to remember all of them. My favorite was the donkey fucking the deer. Although at this moment, I can't remember if they were anthros or not.

*grin* Some of Cor's tattoos were about as X-rated as you can imagine. Stunningly erotic and forbidden.

But they weren't all like that. I'll have to see if I can find some pictures.

Tim was at CF6 and (I believe) CF8. At the latter, he had a table in the Artists Alley with Actaeon. That was the last time I saw Tim IRL, but we kept in touch by email from time to time. He and I were both biologists, so we had quite a bit in common and a lot to talk about beyond the furry realm.
