It's cold outside

Although "cold" is a relative word, when it's getting close to -30C that's pretty much cold anywhere

Yeah, that's fairly expensive. I'd be finding it difficult to justify an expense of almost 12 dollars for two coffees and two cookies.

I hope you'll still get to meet up with your friends occasionally, though.

And -30°C? That is rather cold!

I won't be giving up cruising around anytime soon. But I'm more likely to make a coffee at home before leaving.

I'll still be going to little coffee shops.

I like them.

It's just going to be a little less frequently.

A little warmer here today. But not much. Some reprieve is in the forecast for next week though. Monday afternoon is predicted to be a balmy plus 2C, with temperatures as high 7C later in the week.

That'll probably take care of most of the snow around here.

I imagine that might be a good day for a little local waterfall watching.

It might indeed!

Temperatures have dropped here right as they're going up on your end. We've finally gone below 0, which I think didn't happen at all yet this year (it's crazy, really; blame global warming). When I walked home an hour ago, it was -3°C, which was nice and refreshing.
